Aberthau Duw am borthi dyn,
Yw calon ddrylliog, lwythog, flin;
Cyssegrwn ninau heddyw hon,
Fel ysgub blaenffrwyth ger ei fron.
Clodforwn beunydd, fawr a bach,
O fore'i hwyr
am fara iach;
Gan erfyn bendith
ar y byd,
Byw ar drugaredd 'rym i gyd.
Ymrown i geisio
tra b'o'n chwyth,
Y bara bywiol bery byth;
Nes delo'r angel uchel wawr
I'n galw fry i'r fedel fawr.

Mesur [MH 8888] |
The sacrifices of God for feeding man,
Are a broken, burdened, afflicted heart;
Let us consecrate this day,
Like a sheaf of firstfruits before him.
Let us praise daily, great and small,
From morning until evening
for the bread of health;
While petitioning a blessing
on the world,
Living on mercy are we all.
Let us devote ourselves to seek
while we have breath,
The living bread which endures forever;
Until the high angel of dawn come
To call us above to the great harvest.
